For about a decade, I lived a nomadic life—working, quitting, traveling, repeating—chasing meaning and adventure. In 2021, during the height of COVID, I came down to Costa Rica for a bamboo building workshop in the Diamante Valley. That trip changed everything. The host introduced me to a local selling his land, and after attending a month-long tantra retreat, I felt led to make an offer—$67,000. He accepted.
Fast forward two years: I’d built a life here. I shared my journey online—renovating cabins, growing food, caring for animals, hosting guests and retreats. To many, it looked like a dream life. And in many ways, it was.
But in the fall of 2023, everything shifted.
During a breathwork session, I received a clear vision: God was calling me back to California. I was told the people there were spiritually sick and needed healing. That vision began an unexpected journey. I returned, started sharing breathwork—but more importantly, I found Jesus Christ.
After 8 months back in the States, I repented of my New Age practices—ayahuasca, tantra, manifestation, the “higher self” narrative. I laid it all down at the feet of the cross.
It’s no longer about “Good Vibes.” It’s about the Holy Spirit.
Now, I’m being called to bridge the gap between California and Costa Rica—hosting retreats where you can experience the vitality of this lush land, unplug from distractions, deepen your faith, and walk alongside other men who are surrendering their lives to the Lord.
